Effie Zhang

With a background in Communication from Shenzhen University, Effie Zhang has dedicated twenty-one years to brand strategy, internet digital technology, IP incubation, and copyright management, consistently creating cross-disciplinary value by staying at the forefront of the internet era's transformations.
Her career includes roles at GDC Technology, a leading global digital creative and cinema technology company based in Hong Kong; Shenzhen Media Group; and as Senior Vice President at Shenzhen First Wave, a subsidiary of the A-share listed company Dinglong Culture (002502). She currently serves as the CEO of Shenzhen Yuanlai Culture Development Co., Ltd., while also acting as a consultant for aerospace science and technology innovation IP projects and an expert on digital IP-related topics in Shenzhen.
Ms. Zhang has personally experienced two decades of China's "Internet+" technological evolution. In the first decade (2003-2012), she gained extensive experience in CG film production, broadcast television production, PC online game planning, global digital cinema innovation projects, and government relations.
In the second decade (2013-2023), she advanced into the Web2.0 mobile internet era, engaging in traffic operations, cultural IP, and corporate capital strategy. During this time, she played a key role in the pan-entertainment strategy for the top-tier web novel The Desolate Era and successfully incubated the platinum web novel IP Lord Xue Ying. Her strategic use of internet IP was instrumental in helping the parent company transition from its original business track and meet its performance targets, establishing her as one of the earliest practitioners of internet IP pan-entertainment development and operation strategy in China.
