Lu Liu entered the animation industry in 2001, and has worked in many domestic and international film and television special effects and animation companies as a Technical Director (Crystal Digital Technology Co., Ltd, Pixar Animation Studio, Rhythm & Hues Studios, StarZ Animation Studios, BaseFx), and joined Light Chaser Animation Studios as a Process Director for a number of animated films in 2013. In 2020, he joined Octmedia as the Technical Director of animated film "Deep Sea", and in 2023, he joined Pearl Studio as the VP of Production.
