Prof. Jun Zhu

Jun Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Director of the Basic Research Center of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Tsinghua University. He is mainly engaged in machine learning research and has published more than 100 papers in major international journals and conferences. He has led the team to develop the “Beads” deep probabilistic programming library, the “Heavenly Grant” reinforcement learning library, and the RealSafe adversarial attack ­and defense platform, and won all three tasks of the first “Adversarial Sample Attack and Defense Competition”, and won the “ViZ” and “ViBeat” competitions in the first international competition. Some of his algorithms have become the standard algorithms of mainstream open-source software FoolBox and CleverHans.
