Virginia Cheung holds a PhD in Management from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Management School at Claremont Graduate University. She also holds an EMBA from the Drucker School, a Master in Law and Economics (LLM) from the University of Hamburg in Germany, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.
Her research interests span the integration of both Western and Eastern thought leadership as it relates to leadership, management, and functioning society. Virginia is particularly interested in comparative research on alternative management philosophies and approaches, focusing on the relationship between Drucker philosophy and Confucianism. This includes the application of Drucker's management principles in cross-cultural contexts, such as Confucian societies, and leveraging contemporary management tools to implement Drucker's principles.
